GOLDGRUBE® for business
The GOLDGRUBE® made of concrete can be integrated into buildings. In the case of a new building, integration should be considered from the very beginning. We will be happy to support you in finding your solution. Integration into existing buildings may also be possible, although this is of course somewhat more complex. Some important parameters can be found in the GOLDGRUBE® table below and data sheets. They are in German only.
Urine and faeces are collected separately without water or other additives. This means that high usage figures are possible with small collection volumes.
- Self-sufficient: water, waste water and electricity connection not required
- Power supply for lighting (optional) and ventilation possible via photovoltaic system
- Depending on location, low construction costs
- Three sizes (small, medium, large)
- Toilet systems can be combined in any size and number
- High static load-bearing capacity, can be installed under or in building floor slabs
- Approvable (regulated building product), even in protection zones
- Complies with DIN 30762 and the Product Safety Act
- Buoyancy-proof and submersible (optional)
- Barrier-free size in accordance with DIN 18040 (optional)
- With hand wash basin, self-sufficient water supply and waste water treatment possible
- Can be relocated with reasonable effort
-
- Hygienic: no toilet odors, no insects
- User-friendly: no flushing, litter or chemicals
-
- Low disposal volumes per emptying (max. 4 m³)
- No waste water produced by the toilet
- Remaining gray water, e.g. from washbasins, is cleaned via a small constructed wetland
- Can be emptied with standard small vacuum vehicles
- Up to 9,000 uses per emptying
- Discharge opening also possible outside the building
Construction types of GOLDGRUBE®
There are various installation options. We provide you with these under data sheets. (German only)
Overview: GOLDGRUBE® versions
The following table shows the different versions of the GOLDGRUBE®. All versions comply with the DIN 30762 standard and can be used in both private and public areas. The usage data n are average values from specialist literature. We will be happy to help you make the right choice.
These concrete versions can be integrated into a house or set up as a “stand-alone” solution. They have either a round (e.g. GOLDGRUBE® 1500) or rectangular slab (e.g. GOLDGRUBE® 150×150). They can have three different surface structures: concrete, partially concrete or finished floor.
The data sheets provide further details around the different versions of the GOLDGRUBE®. Note that this data sheets are only in German.

Self-sufficient toilet for the kindergarten
Nature and forest kindergartens also need a toilet solution. Due to their distance from the nearest village, a self-sufficient toilet is necessary.
Together with LivingCircles, we were able to equip two kindergartens in the Swabian Alb with our system in 2023.
Autarkic toilet at the grill hut
Excursion destinations in the mountains, whether with or without wine, often have the problem that a connection to the sewage system is not possible or involves very high investment costs.
We were able to equip this barbecue hut in the Upper Rhine Graben with one of our toilet facilities in 2019. This was a low-investment solution for the municipality. For the tenants of the hut celebrating, it was a pleasant way to make things easier.
Self-sufficient toilet
at the climbing park
Outdoor sports are in vogue. Whether bouldering, climbing or hiking, we enjoy spending time in nature. However, many places lack the appropriate facilities to provide the necessary relief.
The climbing park in Rothenburg ob der Tauber chose us in 2011. Since then, five people have been able to go to the toilet there at the same time.
