Our toilet: Rainau yurt kindergarten

The nature kindergarten in Rainau-Dalkingen opened in 2023. It is something special: the group room is housed in a large yurt. Children and caregivers spend most of the day outdoors. They explore meadows, forests, and the garden right outside the door. An important facility in the yurt kindergarten in Rainau is our toilet.

Our toilet is located in the cloakroom area of the yurt. It is semi-public and only accessible to children, caregivers, and visitors. There are two cubicles: one for adults and a smaller children’s toilet. A child seat is also available for the little ones.

In front of the cubicles is a sustainable hand washing station. It saves water and also works independently of a sewer connection. As always with us, the technology inside is waterless – no flushing, chemicals, or litter. This fits perfectly with the concept of the nature kindergarten. Odor-free with our toilet: Rainau Yurt Kindergarten manages to make the business hygienic and pleasant.

Rainau is located in western Baden-Württemberg, surrounded by fields and nature. Visitors can discover historical sights, hiking trails, and cycling routes here. For children, the region is a small adventure land. The yurt kindergarten itself is not open to the public, but it shows how comfort and sustainability can be combined. In this respect, our toilet, the Rainau yurt kindergarten, is a pioneer.
