Planning and implementation
Depending on the type of toilet you want to buy from us, you need to consider a few points. A TTC HOLZ is certainly less complex and therefore easier to install than a TTC MINERAL together with a GOLDGRUBE®. Basically it is quite simple and since it is a little different from the traditional toilets, we will be happy to assist you in the decision, planning and implementation. A sustainable toilet helps us all to save CO2, electricity and water.
We have many years of experience in this field and can assist you both in choosing the right dry separation toilet and in professional installation and maintenance. With us, you have a reliable partner at your side who can help you implement resource-saving and sustainable sanitary solutions. Please contact us for further information.

TTC = Sustainable toilet
Our two sustainable toilets next to each other.
Terminology: TTC, by the way, stands for “dry- separating closet” in German and is meant to be a reference to the WC, which stands for “water closet”.
TTC HOLZ
The TTC HOLZ is a compact toilet solution and it is ideal especially for the recreational sector – the solution for anyone looking for a simple and sustainable toilet.
Urine and feces are collected separately without water and other additives. This allows for a relatively large number of uses with a small collection volume. The sturdy wooden chair is equipped with a vent, so that toilet odors are sucked into the chair and released outside.
More information about the TTC HOLZ can be found on the product page. There is also a more detailed description of the installation.
TTC MINERAL
The TTC MINERAL is the more noble and larger version. We recommend it for toilet solutions in residential and weekend houses as well as for commercial buildings.
The mineral composite is a robust and break-proof material that has proven itself in the sanitary sector. Depending on the situation, the TTC MINERAL can be combined with one of our GOLDGRUBE® or with our barrel solution.

GOLDGRUBE® for residential houses, weekend houses, tiny houses or commerical buildings
The GOLDGRUBE® made of concrete can be integrated into buildings. In the case of a new building, integration should be considered from the outset. We will be happy to support you in finding your solution. Integration into existing buildings is also possible and this is somewhat more complex. You will find several important parameters in the table for the GOLDGRUBE® as well as in the data sheets (German only).
Urine and feces are collected separately without water and other additives. This means that high usage figures are possible with small collection volumes.
- Self-sufficient: water, waste water and electricity connection not required
- Power supply for lighting (optional) and ventilation possible via photovoltaic system
- Depending on location, low construction costs
- Three sizes (small, medium, large)
- Toilet systems can be combined in any size and number
- High static load-bearing capacity, can be installed under or in building floor slabs
- Approvable (regulated building product), even in protection zones
- Complies with DIN 30762 and the Product Safety Act
- Buoyancy-proof and submersible (optional)
- Can be relocated with reasonable effort
- Hygienic: no toilet odors, no insects
- User-friendly: no flushing, litter or chemicals
- Low disposal volumes per emptying (max. 4 m³)
- No waste water produced by the toilet
- Remaining gray water, e.g. from shower, is cleaned via a small constructed wetland
- Can be emptied with standard small vacuum vehicles
- For up to 6 residents with approx. one emptying per year
- Discharge opening also possible outside the building
Installation variants
The following examples refer to a residential house with four persons or a tiny house that is only used seasonally. In case of less or more use, the values can be adjusted accordingly. We will be happy to assist you. Of course, these variants can also be used for your weekend house, mountain cabin or lake house.
Building without cellar - TTC MINERAL with GOLDGRUBE®
A GOLDGRUBE® Concrete can be installed under the ground plate of a new building. The extraction opening is outside the building.
Place the toilet chair, the TTC MINERAL, next to an exterior wall.
This solution can be easily implemented especially in a new building. It is quite comfortable for the users / owners, as they do not have to handle the substances. Emptying by an appropriate vacuum truck is done about once a year and this is done from the outside at the extraction opening.
For the different versions we have also provided a few data sheets to give you a better impression (German only). We are also happy to support you in the implementation. Simply get in touch with us.
Building without cellar - TTC MINERAL with tanks in a barrel cellar
The TTC MINERAL with collection tank in the barrel cellar is a practicable variant for new buildings and conditionally for old buildings. This solution can be installed with little constructional and financial effort – urine and feces are stored under the toilet room. The full wide-necked barrel is exchanged for an empty one, closed and set aside. Of course, the barrels can be used in other sizes as well.
The toilet chair, the TTC MINERAL, is placed next to an exterior wall.
The substances can be stored in the barrels until they are emptied. Depending on the legal framework, own use of the substances is also possible. Emptying can take place outside the building.
Building with cellar - TTC MINERAL with TTB DUO in a cellar
The TTC MINERAL with TTB DUO in the basement is possible in new buildings and old buildings that have a cellar. This solution can be implemented with little constructional or financial effort – urine and feces are stored under the toilet room in appropriate containers. A full wide-necked barrel is exchanged for an empty one, closed and set aside. Of course, the barrels can be used in other sizes as well.
Place the toilet seat, the TTC MINERAL, straight over the barrel in the cellar room. The solution, like the GOLDGRUBE®, can also accommodate sustainable toilets over several floors, as shown in the schematic above.
The substances are stored in the barrels until they are emptied. Depending on the legal framework, it is also possible to use the substances yourself. Emptying can be carried out by collection or delivery.
Sanitary solution including gray water purification and use
A sanitation solution that includes the purification and use of gray water offers a sustainable alternative to conventional wastewater disposal. This saves valuable drinking water and reduces wastewater costs. The graywater treated by the constructed wetland can either be infiltrated or discharged into a body of groundwater, provided local regulations are met. A sanitation solution with graywater treatment and use is thus an environmentally friendly and resource-saving alternative to traditional wastewater disposal.

Overview: TTB GOLDGRUBE® versions
The following table shows the different versions of the GOLDGRUBE®. All versions comply with the DIN 30762 standard and can be used in both private and public areas. The usage data n are average values from specialist literature. We will be happy to help you make the right choice.
These concrete versions can be integrated into a house or set up as a “stand-alone” solution. They have either a round (e.g. GOLDGRUBE® 1500) or rectangular slab (e.g. GOLDGRUBE® 150×150). They can have three different surface structures: concrete, partially concrete or finished floor.
The data sheets provide further details around the different versions of the GOLDGRUBE®. Note that this data sheets are only in German.
