Today we’re introducing another one of our toilets: The Red Block Comfort Station at the EINS+ALLES field of experiences near Welzheim!
In this small town east of Stuttgart in southern Germany, CHRISTOPHERUS is operating the Laufenmühle, a living and working facility for people with mental and physical disabilities. Connected to the large area of living is a unique park: the EINS+ALLES field of experiences.
Visitors can come in adult groups, kids groups or just by themselves to explore nine different places and paths. Each of them invites us to re-connect to our senses by walking barefoot, be blindfolded or focus on a raindrop on our nose.
Located at the valley end of the area, our toilet provides a convenient pit stop during your sensory journey. The bright red toilet house stands out like playful building blocks. It’s not just eye-catching – it’s also wheelchair accessible!
What can you expect inside? A comfortable toilet seat with handrails, a urinal, and all the essentials. There’s a garbage can, disinfectant, and a small wardrobe in the corner which is housing the cleaning supplies. So, most likely you’ll find it in impeccable conditions.
While access to the park is limited to those holding a ticket, the toilet is open to the public on the parking lot P1. That’s where you also find a barbecue area, the “Wunderweg” (path of wonders) as well as the “Weidenkathedrale” (willow cathedral). The adventurous ones among you can also try mastering the climbing area.
Visitors to the EINS+ALLES field of experiences can enjoy a multitude of activities that engage their senses. And while you’re here, the comfort of finding a modern, accessible toilet can make your visit even more pleasant.
