Today we’re introducing another one of our toilets: the “Granziner Mühle”!
This waterless toilet is located on the canoe trail in the Müritz National Park, close to the site of the historic mill “Granziner Mühle”, in North-East Germany. In keeping with the natural beauty of the area, the facility is built of wood and blends in harmoniously with its surroundings. It’s also wheelchair-accessible, with a toilet seat and urinal, ensuring a comfortable stop for everyone on their journey.
Located in the heart of Germany’s largest national park, this spot is a gem for outdoor enthusiasts. Paddle along the River Havel and through the picturesque lakes of the Mecklenburg Lake District (“Mecklenburgische Seenplatte”) and the Feldberg Lakeland (“Feldberger Seenlandschaft”). The route offers a bit of adventure as canoeists carry their boats about 700 metres overland, with rail carts available to help. This mix of nature and recreation attracts visitors eager to explore this peaceful region.
Our toilet at Granziner Mill provides a practical, environmentally friendly convenience for those passing through, making it easy to stop and recharge. A clean, accessible facility can enhance the outdoor experience and allow you to concentrate on enjoying the natural surroundings.
