Sometimes good ideas start with a simple conversation. That’s exactly what working with NetSan feels like. 🌱The NetSan association (Network for Sustainable Sanitation Systems) brings together people committed to sustainable sanitation solutions. The goal is clear: to share knowledge and develop better systems—systems that work without water, chemicals, or significant effort.

Last weekend, numerous members gathered at the Sieben Linden Ecovillage. Three days filled with exchange, hands-on experience, and engaging discussions. The atmosphere was open and solution-oriented. Many participants brought concrete experiences from projects with them. We were glad that our toilets could also be experienced firsthand, as the buildings on-site are equipped with our TTC MINERAL.

It was particularly exciting to see how often one theme came up: solutions for many questions surrounding modern toilets already exist. Now it is our shared task to bring these out of the niche and into a broader field.

We discussed how important standards and a common language are. They help implement projects more quickly. And they provide certainty in planning and operation.

Netsan demonstrates that sustainable sanitation systems are no longer a niche topic. They are a building block for future-proof infrastructure.

The most important takeaway? Progress happens through networking, and it’s fun to work together for the future. 🤝
