Today we are presenting another of our toilets: the toilet at Kußeich.
It is located above the vineyard near Renchen in a small larch wood house. There are two cubicles – one for women and one for men. The men’s toilet also has a urinal. Both cubicles are equipped with washbasins that dispense water using a foot pump. This ensures hygienic and easy use.
The location makes all the difference: we are on the western side of the Black Forest, roughly level with Strasbourg. Right next to the toilet is the Kußeich hut. It can be rented by the community for celebrations such as weddings or birthdays. Guests then benefit from suitable sanitary facilities on site. The project was made possible by the LEADER funding program, which supports regional initiatives.
From up here, the view stretches far across the Rhine Valley to France and the European city of Strasbourg. Many visitors come to enjoy the landscape or spend time together in the hut. Good to know: anyone celebrating or resting here will find a comfortable and clean toilet right next door.
Our toilets may not be an attraction, but they do make special places a little more practical.
